Privacy policy
Last updated October 2026
This policy explains what data this website handles and why. The company details of the data controller and an official contact channel will be published on this page once confirmed.
Data we handle
- Product verification. When you open a verification page, we record the seal number checked, the date and time, your approximate country as reported by our hosting provider, and a random device identifier stored in a cookie. The identifier is saved only in a keyed, irreversible form. We do not store your IP address with this record.
- Administration. Authorised staff use a session cookie to access the admin area. Admin sign-in attempts are logged with the IP address to block password guessing. These entries are short-lived and are deleted when the administrator next signs in.
This website has no contact form, analytics or advertising cookies at this stage. It does not ask for health information, prescriptions or other sensitive data.
Why we use it
Verification data lets us show how many devices have checked a seal and when it was first checked, which helps buyers and us detect copied seals. Session data keeps the admin area secure.
Cookies
- pgx_did: random device identifier used to count each device once per seal. Expires after two years.
- pgx_admin: admin session, set only after an administrator signs in. Expires after 12 hours.
Service providers
The website is hosted by Vercel and verification records are stored in a database operated by Supabase. They process data on our behalf to run the service.
Retention and your rights
Verification records are kept while the corresponding seal exists. Details on retention, sharing and how to exercise your rights over personal data will be published after the operations are fully defined, together with the channel for requests.
